SIMMENTAL AUSTRIA

The Simmental cattle, originally from the Simmental Valley in Switzerland, are also bred in Austria but retain their characteristic name. This breed, with light yellow to reddish-brown spots on a white coat, is raised for milk and meat production. They live primarily on grass and herbs found on the mountain slopes. Due to this diet and the tranquility of the environment, the meat is beautifully marbled with fat and has a tender flavor.

AVILEÑA NEGRA IBERICA SPAIN

The Avileña Negra Iberica is an authentic Spanish mountain cow that grazes in the summer on several mountain ranges in central Spain, namely: La Sierra de Gredos, Sierra de la Paramera, La Serrota, Sierra de Villafranca, and Sierra de ávila. Just before winter, the animals move to the lower-lying Extremadura or even Andalusia. They are 100% grass-fed cattle. After all, the black Avileña cows are never kept in stalls. If weather conditions require it, hay may be added to their diet exceptionally. This results in a beautiful quality of meat that can be enjoyed by many meat lovers!
